Experiencing the Miracle of life Through Daily Meditation

Experiencing the Miracle of Life Through Daily Meditation
Have you experienced times of anxiety and do not know what to do? I can relate to that! Ever since my early 20’s I started experiencing anxiety, which eventually led to panic attacks. All I remember is being on the train and feeling like I was going to die, when the rush of people came rushing into the Train, they were sucking my life out of me , and I did genuinely believe I was going to die. When I arrived at our office, I shared the experience I had with a co-worker, and she said, you experienced a panic attack. I never had heard this term before, All I remember Is feeling horrible.
Around that time the internet was not readily available for research, I remember going to the library and getting a few books on anxiety, panic, and how the brain acts when this happens, I wanted to be in control and to battle and master whatever it was that was taking place inside of me.
I felt scared and confused, but understanding what was taking place in my brain and my body did give me a sense of understanding and control. I felt that I could conquer this. Little did I know how often this word would come up in my life, and this feeling of anxiety and how intricately connected it is to energy work.
The benefits of meditation for anxiety are huge. My issues with anxiety came and went over the years, the person I was living with around that time, was also anxious, but in a unique way and for different reasons. I remember one January during winter, it had snowed, I looked outside the window, and the mountains of snow were coming to just cover me and entrap me in my own home. I felt I could not escape. What was really happening to me and why was I feeling so out of balance?
As I look back at those times a lot was happening. I was gaining more responsibility at work, when there was a death in my family of one of my uncles. Around that time, I had a dream about him, just a few days before he died. I felt he was saying goodbye as he was getting ready for a trip. It was raining, he and I were both barefoot.
I remember feeling worried about him, whether he is going to get wet and how is he going to get there, but I remember he was able to calm me down but not using his words. I was able to understand him telepathically. Now I understand the uncomfortable feelings were an overload of energy and I did not understand how to handle them or control them.
For people that work with Spirit, it is extremely important to stay attuned to our energy, and to allow ourselves time to decompress and release negative thoughts and emotions and also to recharge. It is also important to learn how to recognize if the feelings we are having are ours or if it is an overload of the spirit world, trying to catch our attention at that time and moment. The easiest and best way to do that is through meditation.
A few weeks after my uncle died, I started feeling his presence around my apartment, and I still had a lot of anxiety again in not knowing how to control the energy, how to open or close a session or how to even place boundaries. Perhaps my uncle’s energy footprint was still lingering around, but I was not able to understand it. I felt glad that it seemed like he was around, but I did not understand how to balance myself.
Over the years with the many ups and downs that take over when I am anxious, there is only one thing that has always improved my anxiety and balanced me, and that has always been meditation.
Meditation, and Breath Work

As I was meditating today it occurred to me, that just breathing in itself is a miracle, and we take it for granted, but we are called to practice and appreciate a quiet moment even 5-10 minutes of daily breathwork can do wonders for our mental health, and balance us out.
In addition, if you are prone to anxieties related to spirit, it can help you recenter – rebalance, and focus on your own energy. A good way to start on meditation is to start some simple breathing exercises. See this link to get started, Bing Videos.
