Your Aura Colors: 8 Intriguing Colors and What They Say About You
Which aura color describes you?
Your aura color reflects your state of being. As an energy practitioner, I always examine a person’s aura to determine if there are blocks and where they are located. Auras are also a great way to know the type of person you are encountering. It is like getting Cliff Notes about someone’s personality and actions. There is a wealth of information available by understanding your aura and that of others. These are not all of the aura color possibilities, but eight primary colors seen most often by energy practitioners and aura readers.
Red Aura

If your aura color is red, you radiate confidence and passion. Your intensity to represent our ideas and thoughts is often well-received, as you value logic and justice in every situation. This likely makes you a leader, entertainer, athlete, or adventurer due to your fearless ability to find success in all that you do. You immerse yourself in the pleasures of the physical world.
Those with red auras often create safe places for others to flourish and grow individually, thanks to their leadership and protective personality. On the other hand, people with a red aura do not tolerate disrespect or condescending behavior and are more than happy to put someone in their place when they witness this behavior. A great way to maintain balance for red auras is through physical exercise or helping others who are willing to accept your advice.
If there are blocks within a red aura, it often seems cloudy or murky. This can lead to short tempers, intense anger, and anxiety, preventing you from finding peace and relaxation.
Orange Aura

Have you ever had someone tell you that you are a fantastic friend and easy to talk to? Your aura color may be orange. You have an innate ability to cultivate friendships and deep connections quickly. You are likely highly empathic and easily relate to others around you.
Those with orange auras are great friends, teammates, and co-workers. You are often described as highly creative, utilizing that ability to inspire and uplift others. You energetically rise to any challenge as it helps you grow and create new goals. Self-reflection is an excellent way for orange auras to maintain balance and release the energies of the day. You can achieve this through meditation, journaling, or quiet reflection.
Blockage in someone with an orange aura appears muddy. In this situation, you change from easy-going to overbearing and insecure. Your once optimistic outlook can quickly turn defensive and pessimistic.

Yellow Aura

Yellow auras are the people who walk into a room and are immediately felt by everyone. If your aura color is yellow, you exude confidence, happiness, and joy. You are often considered the life of the party and inspire others. Your motivational capabilities make you a great coach, manager, or entrepreneur. You excel in any leadership position that allows your natural abilities to flourish.
Due to your logic and intellect, others may describe you as unstoppable when you set your mind on a task. You are optimistic, curious, and continually evolving. As someone with a yellow aura, it is essential to remember that just because you can do anything, that does not mean you should.
A blockage within the yellow aura makes it very cloudy. In this state, you feel uninspired by any project you are completing and can become resentful, overstimulated, and exhausted.
Green Aura

Green auras work from the heart center and are described as the givers of life. If your aura color is green, you have been gifted with care, compassion, and a loving touch. Your ability to heal others, in any capacity, is a calling. This could be with nature, animals, or people.
Your mind is open to the possibilities of life, and your spirit is free to pursue any direction you wish to go. You are highly empathic and can feel the emotions of others and the environment you are in. Green auras are indicative of balance, drawing strength from the earth and the universe. To maintain balance, green auras need to remember that self-isolation is stagnation. You are called to interact with outside forces that fuel your passions.
When muddied, green auras become selfish and stubborn. Your ability to acknowledge and release emotions dwindles. Often, those with blocked green auras self-isolate using their logic to justify the isolation.
Blue Aura

Those with a blue aura are often described as wise, great communicators, self-expressive, and intuitive. If your aura is blue, it is said you effortlessly identify where you are most needed and by whom. You provide swift assistance and support to those who are most in need. You have a gift that enables others to feel seen.
Blue auras are balanced and know the importance of self-care to remain balanced and verbalize their needs or boundaries. You possess profound wisdom and the ability to communicate authentically and freely with anyone willing to engage in conversation. Your physical presence is enough to bring a sense of peace and understanding in any situation. To remain balanced, seek activities that allow you to practice self-care. Two examples of self-care activities are journaling and meditation.
When blocked, blue auras can become insecure, feeling as if their value is tied to how much they can give, often leading to illness. You begin to struggle with communication as you feel like you’re bothering those you’re seeking help from.
Indigo

If your aura color is indigo, you are said to be empathetic, thoughtful, connected, and calm. There is a sense of duty or dedication to meditation, prayer, journaling, or any other spiritual practice. You have a connection with nature, yourself, and the world around you, as if you tap into everything all the time.
Empathy is your superpower. Through empathy, you take on the emotions of others, yet are drawn to helping. You feel compelled to help others where you can, which could lead you into careers such as counseling or therapy.
When imbalanced, murky indigo auras suffer from self-doubt and a disconnect between intuition and action. You feel unable to express feelings to others and become reclusive. It’s essential to engage in activities that promote energetic balance and peace, such as meditation, walking in nature, or keeping a journal.
Violet

Do you have an extremely active imagination? Your aura color may be filled with indigo. Individuals with indigo auras are often creative, imaginative, and tend to daydream, which leads to a more fulfilling inner life. Through complex thinking, your creative side allows you to solve problems with a new, innovative approach.
You can identify patterns and trends more effectively than others. This is due to the consistent input you receive from the outside world—indigo auras radiate enlightenment and inner knowing that is used to help others find more profound meaning and understanding.
When imbalanced, your mind becomes erratic. Instead of flowing with the energies around you, you begin to feel unsettled, often seeking multiple jobs, unhealthy relationships, and becoming self-destructive. Great ways to find balance include dreamwork, meditative connection to higher realms, and activities that require mental involvement.
Pink

Romance, romance, romance. At least that is what we often attribute to the color pink, and if your aura color is pink, you know why! Pink auras are loving, sweet, and non-judgmental. With relationships (friendships included), you are described as gentle, affectionate, and highly loyal. With an innate aversion to conflict or confrontation, you seek harmony wherever you are.
You may find people come to you and divulge secrets or share things with you that they don’t share with others. This is due to the energy and emotions you project, bringing comfort and healing to anyone who interacts with you. You are driven by the heart and possess a nurturing soul, looking to help others.
When imbalanced, pink auras shut down. That once beautiful spirit, which blossomed through interaction, becomes disillusioned with society. This leads to relinquishing your power to others, allowing you to disengage, which creates feelings of mental anger. To balance your energy and recharge, it is suggested that those with pink auras use artistic expression, acts of kindness, and meditation.
